Scale 3/4 SCP 14 – 21
£15,725 to £19,126 pro rata
Post 1 – 17 hours per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Post 2 – 9.5 hours per week: Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Do you have a passion for teaching and a love of the water? We are looking for two Level 2 Swimming Teachers to add to our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will become part of a professional and fun loving team of teachers and within this rewarding role, will assist in the efficient, effective and economic delivery of the popular Aqua School programme at Wales National Pool Swansea.
An ASA/UKCC Level 2 Teaching Qualification is essential and experience of the “Fundamentals” principles of the National Plan for Teaching Swimming would be an advantage. Experience of swimming teaching is also essential for this role.
Excellent technical knowledge and customer care skills are a must as the role will require you to communicate with customers at all levels of the Aqua School. The ideal candidate should have proven experience of working with members of the public in a customer-orientated environment. Strong IT skills are also essential for the administration element of this role.
Within this post you would be required to work a fixed shift programme which will require evenings. You will also be expected to work flexibly during school holidays.
